Patriots vs. Jets
November 21st
This storied AFC East rivalry has an extra edge this time, with both teams in the playoff hunt.
The Jets have long been the Patriots’ little cousin during their era of success, but it’s a different scenario here. Both teams have been impressive at times this season with solid defences, The Jets are coming off a bye, but their efforts in upsetting Buffalo in week nine could launch them into a big second half of the season.
James Robinson is easing into the New York offence and will play a big part in their running game this week unless Matt Judon can push through to stop him.
Rhamondre Stevenson will be pounding the rock for the Pats but will have a tough time against the Jets. If he can gain yards early, it might free up the passing game, with Mac Jones yet to return to his 2021 form this season.
SUGGESTED BET:
Patriots to lead at half time and win at $2.10
Vikings vs. Cowboys
November 21st
This is the story of two teams who have made strong starts to the season but may have veered in different directions since.
Dallas coughed up a must-win game against a battered Green Bay team last week and have slipped back in a difficult NFC East race. They need a quick return to form from Micah Parsons who was ineffective in the loss to the Packers, while Dak Prescott is hungry for a statement game after missing the early part of the season through injury.
Minnesota have stamped themselves as Superbowl contenders, breezing past Buffalo last week in the game of the week.
Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson are two of the most damaging offensive weapons going around and will make life tough for the vulnerable Cowboys in what could be a much higher score than some think.
SUGGESTED BET:
Total score over 47.5 at $1.87
Chargers vs Chiefs
November 21st
For much of this year, Los Angeles has held it together despite a raft of injuries on both sides of the ball. While they have played above themselves with a decimated side, they may have met their match against Kansas City.
The Chiefs are as strong as ever right now and in many people’s minds are the safe bet to win the Superbowl.
Pat Mahomes has a new toy to play with, with receiver Kadarius Toney slotting in perfectly, while Travis Kelce can also destroy opposing defences as we have seen on numerous occasions this year.
Justin Herbert has battled manfully for Los Angeles but he has an unforgiving defense to face led by the in-form Chris Jones. All signs point to Kansas City for this one.
SUGGESTED BET:
Chiefs to lead at half-time and win at $1.91
Cardinals vs. 49ers
November 22nd
We are still waiting for a game where the San Francisco offence completely balls out, and this could be it.
Deebo Samuel is getting some rhythm back after missing a handful of games through injury, while Christian McCaffrey is hitting his stride for his new team. George Kittle was quiet against the Chargers last week, but his class is permanent, and he could be set for a big game here.
Arizona has been hot and cold throughout the season, but a win over the reigning Superbowl-winning Rams may be the shot in the arm they needed.
Kyler Murray is still under an injury cloud, but if he doesn’t come up, Colt McCoy should be able to continue his strong form as a backup with an array of offensive weapons at his disposal.
The niners’ edge is the defensive game here, with Nick Bosa a constant threat, and they should take this one.
