NRL Round 15, Tips and Previews

Eagles vs. Cowboys

June 17th

Top four is the place to go for North Queensland if it can knock off the depleted Manly Sea Eagles.

It has been a meteoric rise of epic proportions for Todd Payten’s men this season and coincides with them being $1.54 favourites here.

Manly will not prove easy to get through though based on its most recent showing.

A thumping of New Zealand last week will have the Sea Eagles boisterous heading into this game.

Tight contest.

Sea Eagles to cover and taking the unders in a double.

SUGGESTED BET:

Sea Eagles +3.5 x total points under 42.5 at $3.53

Eels vs. Roosters

June 18th

Can the real Parramatta Eels please stand up?

The Eels head into their match against Sydney coming off an abysmal performance against Canterbury last weekend where it was flogged 34-4.

Sydney, meanwhile, was no match for Melbourne late in the piece as it went down by eight points.

Missing out on finals is a genuine threat for both teams given the plight of their inconsistency this season.

Surely the Eels respond after last week.

SUGGESTED BET:

Parramatta Eels -1.5 at $1.90

Bulldogs vs. Tigers

June 19th

Struggling for form, in the bottom four, starting at the wooden spoon.

That is the scenario for both Canterbury and Wests Tigers when they crunch each other on Sunday afternoon.

There was a sign the Bulldogs might wrestled themselves away from the depths of despair thanks to Josh Addo-Carr’s star performance in the 34-4 win over Parramatta last weekend.

Addo-Carr is genuinely the only star factor in this game and could win it himself if he can emulate his try-scoring feats of Round 14.

SUGGESTED BET:

Bulldogs to win at $1.80
