Collingwood vs. Richmond
May 7th
He is fresh, he is back and he is ready to damage.
Dustin Martin lines up for Richmond when it takes on Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday.
The Tigers champion makes his return from a personal break and will be at the forefront of this Richmond team trying to do the deed of its enemy in Collingwood.
Both teams come off resounding Round 7 wins, but it was the Tigers who looked incredible when absolutely blowing West Coast to bits.
Richmond will get that added 10% spark from Dusty in order to find the four points.
Richmond at the line and Dusty to kick two goals or more.
SUGGESTED BET:
Richmond -9.5 x Dustin 2 or more goals @ $2.75
Melbourne vs. St Kilda
May 8th
A head to head battle between the undefeated Melbourne and St Kilda comes to fore at the MCG on Sunday afternoon for Mother’s Day.
The Demons are chugging along beautifully at the moment and sit 7-0 with a loss looking a distance away given how well they are playing.
As for the Saints, selling off games to North Queensland did not go to planned as they were left to deal with a one-point loss against Port Adelaide.
Now they face the toughest test in football at the grandest of arenas.
Melbourne has shown no signs of a dip in form to be betting against it.
SUGGESTED BET:
Melbourne -19.5 at $1.90
Carlton vs. Adelaide
May 8th
Carlton heads to Marvel Stadium for a home game against Adelaide for a Sunday twilight fixture which brings to an end Round 8 the AFL season.
Away from head to head and line markets, goal-scoring markets are what will the focus for this game.
Carlton’s tall timber in Charlie Curnow and Harry McKay are going to create all sorts of problems for an Adelaide defence lacking key defensive tall stocks.
With Patrick Cripps, Sam Walsh, Matt Kennedy and Adam Cerra likely to get on top in the midfield battle, Curnow and McKay will get enough of it to cause damage.
McKay is battling a bit of a sore knee, so Curnow will be the forward to back for a bag of goals.
