The NBA gets its first look at star Australian prospect Josh Giddey when Oklahoma City Thunder opens up its season against Houston Rockets.
Giddey has looked at home during the pre-season with his playmaking ability coming to the fore, but he will face a stern test on his debut with the Rockets looking to improve on a disastrous 2020/21 season.
Jalen Green, who was drafted in the same class as Giddey this year, is one of the picks to make a play at rookie of the year and his finesse on offence will be pivotal in this game.
For all the hype around Giddey’s debut, it will all but likely end in a loss with the Rockets looking the better team at the moment.

Bulls vs. Pelicans

Chicago is on the hunt for back-to-back victories to being the season when it faces a New Orleans Pelicans team without Zion Williamson.
Chicago began its season with a 94-88 win over the Pistons, while the Pelicans lost 97-117 to the 76ers.
