Tralee Rose returned in superb order as she finished third when resuming from her spell at Caulfield three weeks ago.
She came to the end her Bagot Handicap winning preparation by running fourth in the Adelaide Cup as a $1.75 favourite and popped up in the Heatherlie Stakes (1700m) where she battled on bravely.
The five-year-old mare clearly has a heap of fitness improvement to come after that effort.
She had market support when she resumed which is always a good indicator that a horse has returned well.
Craig Williams will give her a beautiful run behind the leaders and should the rain come, it will not effect her winning chances one bit.

Bella Nipotina $4.46
It was an ugly watch for those who backed Bella Nipotina last start as she was horribly held up at a pivotal part of her effort in the Chautauqua Stakes at Moonee Valley.
She raced up behind the leaders and was going to pay to her opposition at the 250-metre mark, but the gaps never came and when they did it was all over.
This mare is flying at the moment and the middle barrier is going to suit her much better than the inside barrier she faced at the Valley.
The one to beat in this race.

Richard Laming looks to have found a very nice filly in the form of Xtra Gear.
She broke through for her maiden victory at start number two a fortnight ago after sitting outside the lead at Geelong and booting clear to win by two lengths.
The lead looks to be hers for the taking here should Dean Yendall opt to go to the front and if she can control the speed she has the sprint to be able to see her rivals off.
Any wet weather will likely be a bonus after she trialled on heavy ground with no issues and won on a soft six track last start.
