Bainbridge continues to race well into his preparation and now gets his chance to score in the city for the first time.
Liam Howley has this Rebel Raider-bred stayer travelling sweetly and he gets the services of in-form jockey Brett Prebble.
The map looks favourable for him here given his front-running style and a lack of pressure from his opposition to take up a leading role.
He has the 2400-metre run last start which will have red ripe from a fitness point of view to run strong last sectionals in a bid to hold off his rivals.
A lightly-raced galloper who should continue to progress through the grades.

Israelite Bay $5.5
Have to be with Israelite Bay in this race after a cracking debut run at Geelong last start.
The Tony & Calvin McEvoy are simply going great guns at the moment and this horse will take huge benefit from his effort of 1200 metres.
He draws a nicer barrier than he did on debut and that will allow him to settle within striking distance of the leaders as they swing into the straight.
Seems to be a style of horse that will appreciate the long Sandown straight and the rise to 1400 metres looks perfect given how well he hit the line at Geelong.
Best Roughie - Race 8

Miltida is the roughie of the day.
She is one of only two lightly-raced horses in the field and comes into this off a gritty lead-all-the-way victory at Bendigo over 1300 metres.
The five-year-old mare has been freshened up since that winning effort and Damian Lane retains the ride.
Lane will need to be at his best from the wide barrier, but there does look to be a fair bit of pace in this race.
That should string the field out and allow him to slot into the race with cover.
She has proven she can take the sit behind horses and win, so the price we are getting is quite generous.

This is very competitive quaddie with a host of favourites that, although look great chances, are no sure things.
Going to wide in most legs of this one in the hope we get our roughie up in the last should be survive!
