Barb Raider $2.7

Barb Raider scorched to the line at Sandown Hillside on debut over 1200 metres.

The three-year-old filly is being trained under the watchful eyes of Jerome Hunter and he thought it be possible to pinch a BM-64 race with this galloper’s first start.

Alas, it was not to be, but she rocketed home in the last quarter of the race to finish at the girth of the winner.

Craig Williams sticks with the horse which is a positive factor.

Zerelle

Three solid jumpouts have got Zerelle ready for victory with a resuming run from a spell.

The three-year-old colt trained by Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young was immediately spelled to the paddock after winning his maiden race over 1300 metres and Sandown.

He faces the exact conditions here as he did at his last race start, albeit taking the step up in grade to Class 1.

Barrier seven might get a bit awkward, but he showed too much in first campaign as well as his jumpouts to be ignored in this race.

Olivia's Game $16/$3.8

Olivia’s Game has been acquired by the Chris Waller and, while she is likely to get better as she steps up in trip, she can run a big race first-up.

Formerly with Graeme Begg, Waller now has the task of guiding this horse into winning form and she might just be revved up to do so in this BM-64 over the mile.

She was given a very quiet time of it for the majority of her 800-metre jumpout at Flemington when settling last under a hold.

The mare was then asked for an effort and responded well under riding to make up ground.

Big odds and we can punt on her each-way.
