Gate Crash looks a really progressive staying type who should be able to break his maiden status at Sale today.
He got back in the run on debut and rocketed to the line over 1610 metres, which, on first impression, looks well short of where he will do his best racing.
Patrick Payne has got him up in distance to 1746 metres and, while he is likely to settle back in the run from barrier nine, he should prove too good for this lot.

He has some talent does this young gelding!
A three-year-old son of Pride of Dubai, this three-year-old from the Mike Moroney team showed nice ability in his two Flemington jumpouts despite missing the start at his most recent.
What impressed the most about his second jumpout was the ability to pick up horses under his own steam.
Has more gear on him than an hiker in Nepal, but it should see him jump much cleaner.
He can easily make a winning start to his career in a basic maiden race.

He ran a much improved last start at Pakenham on the synthetic surface over 2200 metres to almost get up at a long price.
Aaron Laing races him with only nine days between runs which suggests he is going well at the stable had pulled up fine from his run on August 3.
Aaron Lynch has been booked for the ride and he has a good association with the horse.
The four-year-old gelding has already had a start at this track over a similar distance back on June, but was got caught down near the rails which is quicksand.

This is tricky quaddie as Sale can sometimes play very leader-ish or it can completely butcher up those who are on horses travelling near the rails.
Going to play wide a bit wide with this quaddie to include horses who have drawn out deep on the track, which might be the place to be late in the day.
