Mr Brightside $2.00
Mr Brightside can defend his P.B. Lawrence Stakes title on Saturday.
The Bullbars gelding has arguably improved over the last 12 months, and he is building an enviable career record.
The All-Star Mile and Doncaster winner races exceptionally well at the distance, and he always performs well fresh.
From barrier ten he will sit midfield with some cover, and if Craig Williams presents the superstar with his run at the right time, he will gobble up his rivals late.
The 59kg and carpark draw are among the primary concerns.
Tuvalu can bounce back after an indifferent autumn preparation.
The Kermadec gelding was great without threatening first-up in the C F Orr Stakes, and it may pay dividends to forget he went around in the Blamey Stakes where he over raced and pulled up lame.
The six-year-old will give a good sight on top of the speed, and if he is left to his own devices, he can pinch the Group 2 feature.

It'sourtime $4.60
It’sourtime is racing in great spirit.
The Time For War gelding was a stunning winner of the Auries’s Star at his latest outing when ridden cold, and he should be rock-hard fit after an impressive and consistent campaign.
His record at 1200m is first-class, and his best form reads incredibly well for this event.
He has raced well without winning at ‘The Heath’ previously, and he gets his chance to break through on Saturday.
Watch for him late!
Thunder Beauty looks dangerous, jumping from the perfect inside barrier.
The Night Of Thunder mare makes her Australian debut for the Maher and Eustace camp, and her recent barrier trial leading into this event was ominous.
Her best international form would win this event in a canter, and I suspect the stable will have her cherry ripe for a first-up tilt.
I prefer to invest in her deeper into the campaign over further ground.
Take on trust!

Anahita $10.00/$3.00
Anahita was an impressive last-start winner.
The Shalaa mare was given a peach of a ride, and she proved too strong late for her rivals.
The 1400m is in her wheelhouse, and she deserves her shot at this level against more seasoned opposition.
Ben Melham has options from the middle gate, and if he presses the go button at the right time, I expect her to figure in the finish.
If the predicted rain arrives, I suspect her quote will shorten significantly.
Life Lessons will start favourite after producing a stunning autumn campaign.
The Tavistock mare raced in some serious events and held her own against quality opposition.
She will appreciate the significant drop in class; her first-up record is too good to ignore.
The Peter Moody polish must be respected and has been heavily backed since markets opened.
The grandstand weight is her biggest obstacle.

Charm Stone and Skirt The Law can fight out the opening leg of the quaddie.
The talented fillies look poised to strike first-up, and they have serious spring campaigns in front of them.
Cylinder has the Vain Stakes at his mercy, while our best bet, Mr Brightside, can take out the feature event, the P.B. Lawrence Stakes.
