Buccaneers vs. Seahawks
November 14th
The battle between Geno Smith and Tom Brady is a tale as old as time itself about a journeyman struggling for form against an MVP candidate.
But this time, the roles are reversed, with Brady showing the odd glimpse in an otherwise underwhelming season while Smith continues to star for the Seahawks.
Smith has been one of the stories of the year and was named the NFC Offensive Player of the month in October, while Brady redeemed his season slightly with a winning touchdown pass against the Rams last week.
Whether Brady can continue that winning form into the first-ever NFL game held in Germany remains to be seen. His offensive team has struggled around him, last-minute heroics aside but the Bucs D knows how to put pressure on when it counts.
The Seahawks are humming with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett connecting well with Smith, as is Tight End Noah Fant.
This game will go a long way to deciding the end of season rankings in the NFC and it looks like the Seahawks are the bet here.
SUGGESTED BET:
Tampa Bay last team to score at $1.84
- NFL Same Game Multi
- Leg 1: Seattle -5.5
- Leg 2: Half/Full double Seahawks/Seahawks
- Leg 3: Each team over 2.5 touchdowns
- Combined odds = $21
Bills vs. Vikings
November 14th
Some cracks are starting to appear in the all-conquering Buffalo team with a surprise loss to the Jets last week.
Making things even more challenging for Buffalo is the elbow injury to Josh Allen that, at the time of writing, still has a cloud over whether or not he will take to the field.
If he does, he will be keen to atone for last week’s poor performance and will look to hit up Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis early to restore confidence.
This is a big test for Minnesota, who has quietly won its past six games to sit pretty at 7-1. The Kirk Cousins-Justin Jefferson combination has seen off all comers. A reinvigorated defense led by Harrison Smith has shut down numerous teams, but it is a different kettle of fish against the powerful Bills at full tilt.
SUGGESTED BET:
Buffalo to win the first half at $1.51
49ers vs. Chargers
November 14th
Few are writing off San Francisco despite an unimpressive 4-4 record. A raft of injuries have held them back, but they still possess two of the most potent offensive weapons in Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey.
Samuel looks set to return after a brief layoff through injury, while McCaffrey has started strongly in his new colours and will improve as he gets used to his new surroundings.
The Chargers keep producing despite being hit heavily by injury and were impressive in their win over the Falcons last week. Justin Herbert has been resilient as he obviously carries an injury and will be buoyed by the likely return of star receiver Keenan Allen who should get some touches early.
They’re not the favourites here, but it is worth looking at them.
SUGGESTED BET:
Chargers win at $3.44
Eagles vs. Commanders
November 15th
Philadelphia has won pretty in most of its games this season but showed it could win ugly too.
The victory over the Texans in Thursday night football wasn’t one for the ages, but the Eagles did what they had to do to secure an eighth consecutive win to maintain their undefeated streak.
Dallas Goedert is seeing more action and is a chance to do some damage against a Washington team that has played above itself for much of the season.
While the Commanders may have four wins to their name, there are far too many chinks in their armour to think they could be the first to bring the Eagles to the ground this season.
Tyler Heinicke is still getting used to his role as the starting Quarterback, and while the potential is there, this looms as a challenge beyond him and his team.
