Sandown Park Best Bet - Race 2
2
Kanji Giant $2.8
A return to The Meadows should be the factor in favour of Kanji Giant in order to get him back into winning form.
He zipped along at Sandown Park in a Mixed 6/7 grade race over 515 metres, but was beaten by four lengths when a well backed $3.7 elect.
Looking back at this most recent run at The Meadows, he ran a personal best to collect the winning cheque and that effort would be more than good enough to win this.
The market will likely warm to his good track record, so he looks a good price.

Mepunga Warrior $2.6
Jeffrey Britton releases the shackles on his in-form greyhound again when he sends out Mepunga Warrior at The Meadows.
This two-year-old dog is in supreme winning form having bolted in at this last two starts over 600 metres.
He has donned the red rug at his two most recent efforts, which has allowed him to rail up early and bolt away with victory
Box five most pose a few issues early, but his early speed and tenacity should overcome the awkward box.
He is a dog that continues to improve and should be able to making three wins in a row.
The Meadows Best Roughie - Race 4

Javi $12/$3.90
Javi is a genuine track specialist of The Meadows and comes up long odds in this race.
The market is telling us he is outclassed here, but given his winning record here and the form he is in, it is hard to ignore him.
He might be two to three lengths off the Mr Fix It and Yozo Bale, but those two dogs are drawn awkwardly.
Javi might just be the one to pick up the pieces if things go array for the favourites.
