Autumn Glow $1.45

Autumn Glow is a superstar!

The Autumn Sun mare has somehow improved this campaign, and she put away a world-class field with ease in her latest outing.

Her undefeated career record continues to amaze punters and the general public, and she continues to go from strength to strength.

The 2000m is ideal at this stage of her campaign, and the Chris Waller polish must be respected.

Only bad luck in running will see her colours lowered!

Aeliana has recorded back-to-back Group 1 victories at her latest two outings.

Her victories have been first-class, and this looks like a very winnable assignment despite Autumn Glow’s presence.

The current track conditions suit her to a tee, and a victory here would be a fitting end to her successful autumn campaign.

She tends to chase home champions!

Soverato $8.00

Soverato was good without winning at her latest outing.

She looked the winner as heads turned for home, however, she was grabbed in the shadows by a smart one.

Th quick back-up is a positive, and the step out in trip is ideal at this stage of her preparation.

The Vadamos filly is classy, and I suspect this has been a long-range target from the astute camp.

She may need some luck getting off the paint as they run for the doctor.

Profoundly will have plenty of supporters after a dominant last-start victory.

Her turn of foot is significant, and she meets the usual suspects on Saturday.

The longer trip suits, and the market support tells a story.

The tricky gate is her biggest obstacle.

River Of Stars $9.00/$3.00

River Of Stars looks well placed here.

All runs this preparation have been good without winning, and I suspect he has been trained to the minute for this Group 1 assignment.

His performances in both the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups were elite, and a repeat performance on Saturday would see him figure in the finish.

The middle gate provides multiple options in the run, and the James McDonald factor must be respected.

Over the odds.

Soul of Spain is ready to win.

The Phoenix Of Spain gelding has been building towards the 3200m, and his best form reads well for this event.

He performs well at Randwick, and his versatility alone puts him into winning conversations.

The awkward barrier and his recent winning record are among the primary concerns.

QUADDIE

Q

$36 for 200%

We have gone wide in a tricky edition of the Sydney Cup.

It’s not the strongest field for a time-honoured Group 1 event, and nothing would surprise here.

The top three in betting will battle it out in the Queen Of The Turf, while Autumn Glow will continue on her winning ways in the Queen Elizabeth.

Gangsta Granny will finish the day on a winning note for the punters.

Best of luck!
