Big Sky $4.80

Big Sky is a speed machine.

The Bivouac colt has shown a clean pair of heels in both wins to date, and he looks one out of the box.

The form around him has been questioned, however; both victories have been dominant.

He has broken the clock at both career outings, and I suspect he will be timed to the minute for his third-up assignment.

The middle gate will allow him to roll forward and control the tempo, and if he can get away with a couple of cheap sectionals, he will look the winner as they run for the doctor.

Guest House missed the start at his latest outing.

The big boy was given a hard task as a result, and he ultimately fell short during the final furlong.

The Home Affairs colt should be rock-hard fit after producing a solid debut preparation, and he is too talented to dismiss.

The 1200m suits, and the inside draw brings him into all winning conversations.

His race-day manners are the primary concern.

Point Barrow $3.10

Point Barrow is an excitement machine.

The lightly raced Blue Point filly possesses a stunning turn of foot, and her victories at Caulfield and Flemington from impossible positions, are still fresh in the memory bank.

I suspect she would have been competitive in the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes, and the form around her is elite.

The 50kg could prove decisive, and she will be rocketing home with the inform Jamie Melham aboard.

Her racing pattern and style always requires an element of good fortune.

Gallant Son is flying at present.

The Written Tycoon entire is chasing a hatrick of victories on Saturday, and he deserves his opportunity at this level.

The inside draw puts him into all winning conversations, and the early money tells a story.

The predicated frenetic tempo during the early stages of the race may be his undoing.

Red Galaxy $15.00/$4.00

Red Galaxy is over the odds.

The Stratum Star gelding is racing better than it reads in the bible, and I suspect his camp are praying for even luck in-transit on Saturday.

His form around Immortal Star reads well for this event, and he looks more suited in this company.

The inside draw will help his plight, and the key booking of Damien Lane is advantageous.

His record at the distance is solid, and his opening quote has been more than nibbled at.

Acid test!

Stealth Of Night is a model of consistency.

The Night Of Thunder mare hasn’t missed a drum since the moon landing, and she looks poised to strike here.

I suspect she has the fitness edge on the majority of her rivals after a successful and lengthy campaign, and a victory on Saturday would be a great reward for effort.

The class rise is her biggest challenge.

QUADDIE

Q

$136 for 50%

Treasurethe Moment can return to the winners’ stall on Saturday.

The talented four-year-old looked sharp in recent jump-outs, and I suspect she can take the weight-for-age crown now Via Sistina has headed to the breeding barn.

Big Sky can get the job done in the Blue Diamond, however; Guest House, Closer To Free, Streisand, Alibaba, Ghana’s Akan, and Unit Five, all gain gurnseys for quaddie insurance purposes.

Oak Hill, Gallant Son, and Point Barrow will lock horns during the final furlong of the Oakleigh Plate, while it’s a field job in the lucky last.
