Miss Scandal $2.40

Miss Scandal makes her racing debut for the powerful Waller yard.

The Home Affairs filly oozes class, and she caught the attention of punters recently at the jump-outs.

The expensive two-year-old is well related to a Magic Millions winner, and I suspect she is timed to the minute for a first-up tilt.

James McDonald takes the reins, and she has been heavily supported from the outset.

Big watch!

Hardanger will have plenty of supporters after producing an excellent debut performance at Randwick.

The Pinatubo filly savaged the line late, and she put the writing on the wall for a strong second-up performance.

The Freedman camp is white-hot at present, and the form behind Warwoven speaks volumes.

The awkward gate is the primary concern.

The Instructor $4.00

The Instructor is knocking on the door.

Both runs this campaign have been full of merit, and I suspect he has been set to explode third-up from a spell.

The middle gate will allow him to roll forward and pilot the field, and if he can stack up his rivals before they run for the doctor, he will look the winner on straightening.

The final furlong is always his biggest challenge.

Disneck was a brilliant last-start victor at Flemington.

The big boy smashed a quality line-up, and he looks extremely well placed in this event.

He meets less opposition and finds his ideal track conditions.

His racing pattern and style always requires an element of good fortune.

Cormac T $9.00/$3.00

Cormac T is over the odds.

The Nathaniel gelding was good, fresh without threatening, and his second-up record is near perfect.

The step out in trip is ideal at this stage of his campaign, and he finds a very winnable assignment on Saturday.

The inside draw is advantageous, and if the consistent six-year-old sees clear air as they cut the ribbons, he will loom to win.

Harlow Mist is racing well at present.

The Contributer mare is a model of consistency, and the 2000m trip looks ideal at this stage of her spell.

The honest five-year-old is a model of consistency, and I suspect she has the fitness edge on the majority of her rivals.

She may need some luck getting off the dulex as heads turn for home.

QUADDIE

Q

$130 for 100%

Roslyn’s Star look a moral in the opening leg of the quaddie.

His first-up performance was outstanding, and he looks to have this event at his mercy.

We have a handful of gallopers flying the flag in the JRA Plate, while Cormac T and Harlow Mist may decide our hopes and dreams in the penultimate event on the program.

It’s a field job in the lucky last!
