Best Bet - Rosehill Race 9

Gringotts $3.00
Gringotts looks extremely hard to beat.
The Per Incanto gelding was ok on his return to racing on a heavy track, and his recent jump out between runs was enormous.
His best performance here could be fences and panels that are better than those of his rivals, and he finds a more suitable distance and track conditions to suit on Saturday.
The Group 1 winner oozes class, and I suspect several of his key rivals may be underprepared for this event.
The 61kg is the primary concern.
Rise At Dawn is progressive.
The Almanzor gelding was good fresh without winning at Flemington, and I suspect he will pilot the field here with a clean break from the barriers.
The progressive five-year-old always performs well second-up, and his Group 1 form from the autumn puts him into all winning conversations.
The longer trip suits, and he comes in well at the weights.
The wide gate may determine his fate during the early stages of the event.

Wodeton $5.00
Wodeton is overdue for a win.
The Wootton Bassett colt was only beaten by the camera in Golden Slipper during the autumn, and he has been a victim of circumstances during his current preparation.
He was stiff and fresh over a sprinting trip, but the wide gate and track bias cost him his latest outing.
The step out to 1400m suits, and I suspect this is the grand final of his spring campaign.
The promising three-year-old draws the cherry, and he is ready to explode third-up from a spell.
He needs to notch up another victory!
Tempted was breathtaking first-up.
The untapped filly put her rivals away before they entered the final furlong, and she strips fitter as a result of her fresh demolition.
The longer trip suits, and the 54kg puts one hoof on the till.
The awkward gate is the primary concern.

Snow In May $9.00/$3.00
Snow In May was good first-up without winning at Wyong.
The Autumn Sun mare savaged the line late, and she strips fitter due to her fresh eye-catching performance.
The inside draw is advantageous, and the featherweight could prove decisive.
She finds her pet distance and has been well supported since acceptance.
Over the odds!
Manaal got the chocolates second-up over six furlongs.
She beat a red-hot field, and I suspect she has further improvement to come for the campaign.
The inside draw is advantageous, and I suspect she will start race favourite as a result of significant early money.
The grandstand weight is the primary concern.
QUADDIE
Q
$90 for 100%
A handful of selections fly the quddie flag in the opening leg.
It’s a tricky edition of the Golden Pendant, and nothing would surprise.
The Golden Rose is harder to pick than a broken nose, while our best bet, Gringotts, has one hoof on the till in the Shannon Stakes.
Polyglot, Roselyn’s Star, and Chidiac, may decide our fate in the final event on the program.
Best of luck!
