Via Sistina $4.50

Via Sistina failed second-up in the Group 1 Makybediva behind Mr Brightside and Pride Of Jenni.

The form out of this race has subsequently been franked, and the drier track conditions on Saturday will provide her with a shot at redemption.

Her best form is superior, and she finally gets out to a suitable trip.

The world class mare strips fitter I suspect we will see a memorable performance.

Atishu is a Flemington specialist.

The Savabeel mare is ready to win, and I am confident she will get the perfect cart into the race from the middle draw.

The longer trip is advantageous, and he has been specked at a decent price since markets opened.

Watch for her late!

Declichy Boulevard $2.80

Declichy Boulevard is ready to win.

Both runs this preparation have been ominous, and the Snitzel filly finds a winnable assignment on Saturday.

The step out to 1600m is perfect, and I suspect she has been trained to the minute to explode third-up from a spell.

The long headquarters straight should suit her racing pattern and style.

Hard to toss!

Wings Of Desire will have supporters after a near perfect start to her career.

The Pride Of Dubai filly has form around some smart performers, and she still looks to have plenty of improvement to come this campaign.

She is rock-hard fit, and she deserves her shot at this level.

Acid test!

Quintessa $13.00/$4.00

Quintessa is over the odds after failing to produce her usual turn of foot second-up.

The Shamus Award mare didn’t handle the heavy conditions, and it may pay dividends to forget that she went around.

She is undefeated third-up from a spell, and I am expecting a huge turnaround in form on Saturday.

The classy runner of the field who can bounce back with even luck in-transit.

Skybird will start favourite after producing an eye-catching run fresh.

The Exosphere mare is unbeaten second-up from a spell, and the step out to 1400m looks ideal.

The form around her reads exceptionally well for this event, and I expect her quote to shorten before the barrier open.

The carpark draw is the primary concern.

QUADDIE

Happy to stay out of the Bart Cummings.

Too many unknowns, and nothing would surprise here.

Via Sistina, Warmonger, and Atishu fly the quaddie flag in the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes, while we have a handful of selections in the competitive Gilgai Stakes.

Quintessa, Tiz Invincible, and Skybird will determine our fate in the lucky last.
