The Lonhro gelding reached dizzy heights last preparation, and he finished on the heels of the winner in the Group 1 Toorak Handicap.
His best form reads incredibly well for this event, and I suspect he will be cherry-ripe for a first-up tilt on Saturday.
The big boy goes faster than last week’s pay fresh, and he his record at the distance must be respected.

The Shooting To Win gelding was an impressive victor first-up, and he has been good without winning in some hot-form races since.
The drop in grade is advantageous, and the 1400m looks ideal at this stage of his preparation.
