Detonator Jack $4.00

Detonator Jack is flying!

The Jakkalberry gelding destroyed his rivals in the $1,000,000 The Gong at his latest outing, and he meets a similar field on Saturday.

His record at 1600m is outrageous, and I suspect he has the fitness edge on the majority of his rivals.

From barrier fifteen, he will drift back and give his rivals a head start, and if the peloton leaves the stove on during the early stages of the race, he will grab his opponents inside the final furlong.

Vilana looks dangerous, jumping from the perfect inside draw.

The step out to a mile is advantageous, and he is ready to produce a peak performance for the preparation.

His record at the track must be respected, and he can surprise his more fancied opponents on the quick back-up.

Over the odds!

Waihaha Falls $8.00

Waihaha Falls made a pleasing return in a hot-form race.

The Sacred Falls gelding meets easier opposition here, and he doesn’t know how to perform poorly at Royal Randwick.

From barrier three, he can camp on the leader’s back, and if the gaps appear as they run for the doctor, he can figure in the finish.

His second-up record is rock-solid, and the 55kg looks luxurious.

Hard to toss!

Recommendation is in a model of consistency.

The Shalaa gelding hasn’t put a foot wrong all campaign, and the form around him has repeatedly stood up.

From barrier one, he will roll forward and pilot the field, and if he can avoid an early-speed battle, he can build on his already impressive career record.

This is his acid test.

Deficit $12.00/$3.80

Deficit is knocking on the door!

Both runs this preparation have been ominous, and the Snitzel gelding looks well-placed in this company.

The talented five-year-old is already a winner at the mile, and he looks dangerous jumping from an inside barrier.

He has a winning relationship with jockey Joshua Parr, and there has been an avalanche of early money for the Gerald Ryan-trained galloper.

He looks excellent each-way value!

Zoe’s Promise will have supporters after a consistent preparation to date.

The Swear mare has form around some serious Group competitive performers, and she will appreciate the significant drop-in class.

The step out 1600m is advantageous, and I expect her to produce a peak run for the campaign third-up from a spell.

The carpark is the primary concern.

Insurrection, Recommendation, and Waihaha Falls will fight it out in the second leg, while it’s a field job in the penultimate event on the program.

Lady Laguna, Brudenell, Way To The Stars, and Iowna Merc will be prominent in the lucky last.
