Tom Kitten $2.35

Tom Kitten was a good thing licked at his latest outing.

He wobbled into the home straight like a shopping trolley and was lucky to stay on his feet after copping significant interference.

The Harry Angel colt savaged the line late, and favourite punters headed to the bar for a stiff drink.

The 2000m looks ideal at this stage of his preparation, and he should get a soft run in transit from the perfect inside draw.

If Adam Hyeronimus can get the big boy off the rail at the right time, I expect him to prove too strong late.

Kintyre is super honest.

The Hallowed Crown gelding will appreciate the step out in distance, and I suspect he will occupy the box seat jumping from barrier three.

His recent winning record is the primary concern.

Roots $10.00

Roots turned heads and broke clocks first-up from a spell.

The Press Statement mare produced sizzling closing sectionals, and she looks incredibly well placed second-up in this company.

Her record at the track is rock-solid, and she always performs well at this stage of her campaign.

She can sit closer to the speed from barrier four, and if the gaps appear as the field comes over the famous Randwick rise, she can figure in the finish.

She may need further.

Magic Time was a dominant last-start winner.

The Hellbent mare put her rivals to the sword a long way from home, and the step out to 1400m on Saturday looks perfect for a third-up tilt.

If she can cross the field from the wide gate during the race’s early stages, it could be curtains before they turn for home.

Her fate may be decided during the first furlong.

Midnight Opal $9.00/$2.70

The undefeated Midnight Opal is flying!

The Deep Field colt was superior at his latest outing and looks to have plenty of upside.

The progressive three-year-old deserves his shot at this level, and if he can produce his customary turn of foot when the whips are cracking, he can upset his more fancied rivals.

This is his acid test.

Mumbai Muse will have supporters after a consistent campaign to date.

The Zoustar filly will appreciate the drop back in distance, and I suspect she is ready to produce her peak run for the preparation.

From barrier four, she will sit midfield with cover, and with even luck in transit, she will make her presence felt inside the final furlong.

QUADDIE

Q

$90 for 25%

Tom Kitten can get our quaddie off to a flyer!

The enigmatic colt is incredibly talented, and the step out to 2000m could prove the winning difference.

Espiona, Opal Ridge, Roots, Magic Time, Parisal, and Olentia will be prominent in the $1,000,000 The Invitation, while we have gone incredibly wide in the penultimate event.

Arctic Glamour looks the obvious. However, I am yet to decide if drawing barrier one is advantageous.

Felix Majestic, Gringotts, Portray, Bunker Hut, or Fall For Cindy can bring it home for the punters in the lucky last!
