I Am Me $3.30

I Am Me is a winning machine.

The I Am Invincible mare climbed through her grades successfully during the autumn, and she was game in defeat in the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate.

From barrier one, I expect her to roll forward and control the tempo, and if she can pinch a couple of cheap sectionals in-transit, the race will be over a long way from home.

Her trials leading into this event have been sensational, and I suspect the camp will have her cherry ripe for a first-up tilt.

She has the spring at her mercy!

Big Parade will have supporters after a handful of impressive barrier trials.

His latest jump-out was a 21-length demolition, and he broke all the clocks on course.

If he can reproduce that performance on race day, he will prove hard to beat.

The long list of injuries during his career is the biggest deterrent.

Take on trust!

Fawkner Park $2.70

Fawkner Park is building a picket fence next to his name.

The Zoffany gelding is winning for fun, and he can take the next step in his career on Saturday.

The 1800m looks ideal, and I suspect he is ready to explode against some senior and more credentialed rivals.

From barrier ten, he will drift back and let the race unfold, and if he gets the required tempo to run on late, he will prove too strong at the pointy end.

The apprentice claim puts one hoof on the till, and I expect the avalanche of money to continue for the talented five-year-old.

He is the real deal!

Mach Schnell is ultra-consistent.

The Zacinto gelding is racing in great spirit, and his best form reads incredibly well for this event.

The allocated 53kg is a luxury, and his record at the trip is outrageous.

The carpark draw is the primary concern.

Holstein $9.00/$3.00

Holstein can win despite jumping from Bondi.

The Snitzel gelding has turned heads this campaign, and he is ready to produce a peak performance for the campaign.

He looks well placed at this level and has been crying out for the 1800m all preparation.

If he can cross and lead from the horror draw, the fat lady could be singing before they run for the judge.

Over the odds!

Burrandana is knocking on the door!

The Duporth gelding has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory all campaign, and he gets his chance to make amends on Saturday.

The step out in distance is perfect, and he should get all the favours in the run from an inside draw.

He looks skinny in the market with his recent winning record.

Odds on, look on!

QUADDIE

Q

$36 for 100%

Brudenell, Tristate, and Legio Ten look to have the first leg of the quaddie at their mercy.

All are racing well, and I expect them to fight out the finish.

Our best bet, I Am Me, can win the feature event, while Fawkner Park looks a moral in the penultimate event.

We have gone extremely wide in the lucky last, looking for some value and insurance.

Best of luck!
