Manly Sea Eagles vs Sydney Roosters

Head-To-Head

The market can hardly split these two sides, but we’re happy to take the $1.91 about Manly based on two factors: their home ground and a bevy of returning stars.

While they’ve been wildly disappointing over the past two weeks, Manly welcomes back Jake Trbojevic, Jason Saab, Kelma Tuilagi, Ben Trbojevic and Brad Parker, four starters. Not to mention, the last time they played at home was a 40-point rout of the Dolphins.

The Roosters gave up 18 points in the first half against the Raiders, something they can’t do against a Manly side at 4 Pines Park.

Suggested Bet:

Manly to win at $1.91

North Queensland vs. Wests Tigers

Handicap

13.5 points is a big head start, but the Cowboys have been absolutely dominating of late with consecutive wins over the Storm (25 points), Panthers (4) and Rabbitohs (25). All three victims are placed in the top eight, with the former two battling for the top spot.

Todd Payten has named an unchanged line-up for the Cowboys, and with a spot in the top eight just inches away from them, expect the Cowboys to dish out an old-fashioned thumping.

Suggested Bet:

North Queensland (-13.5) at $1.81

William Kennedy (Sharks)

Anytime Scorer

Cronulla had a day out when they last played two weeks ago, defeating the Bulldogs 48-10 on the back of an eight-try display.

Perhaps the most impressive part of their demolition job was the fact that eight different players scored one try each in a complete team performance. However, when Williams Kennedy isn’t one of those scorers, you know he’s had a restless fortnight.

The star fullback sits in the top 10 for tries, with 12 for the season, but he could not add to that tally in 80 minutes of supremacy from the Sharks.

With another sizable triumph on the card, Kennedy should just about be a lock at $1.73.

Suggested Bet:

W. Kennedy anytime try scorer at $1.73

Brisbane Broncos vs. Dolphins

Same Game Multi

Despite missing Origin star Reece Walsh, Thomas Flegler and Jordan Riki, there’s no doubt the Broncos should go into this one as red-hot favourites.

They’re sitting second on the ladder, playing for top spot, and the Dolphins are reeling with one win from their past five games.

While this will be the first-ever NRL fixture at The Gabba, and they won’t have the Suncorp advantage, losing to the Titans by six points will be eating away at Kevin Walters and the Broncos.

Having defeated the Dolphins 18-12 earlier in the season, we’re confident they’ll make it two wins from two games against their younger sibling.

  • Leg 1: Brisbane to win
  • Leg 2: Under 47.5 points
  • Leg 3: S. Cobbo anytime try scorer
  • Leg 4: H. Tabuai-Fidow anytime try scorer
  • Total: $11

Suggested Bet:
