South Sydney vs. Canberra Raiders

Head-To-Head

The Bunnies will need to overcome the loss of Latrell Mitchell and Cameron Murray as they ply their trade at Origin level, while Campbell Graham is a chance of missing with a sternum injury. That’s the bad news.

In more positive news, Alex Johnston is on fire with two of his side’s three tries over the weekend, while Cody Walker remains a serious threat.

On the other hand, the Raiders will be without two of their own guns, Hudson Young and Elliott Whitehead, after suffering their own loss over the weekend with a poor outing against the Sea Eagles.

Expect the Rabbitohs to bounce back and re-take the top spot from the Panthers.

Suggested Bet:

South Sydney to win at $1.77

Dolphins vs. St George Illawarra

Handicap

The Dolphins head to their ancestral home at Redcliffe this Thursday, and we’re backing them to return to the winner’s circle against the Dragons.

They improved as the match progressed against the Storm, bouncing back from a 4-24 opening stanza and keeping them scoreless in the second half.

While the Dragons were impressive as they downed the Roosters just days after losing Anthony Griffin as senior coach, backing that up without Ben Hunt (Origin) seems a bridge too far for a side that is 0-6 away from home.

Suggested Bet:

Dolphins (-4.5) at $1.90

NZ Warriors vs. Brisbane Broncos

Totals

The Warriors and the Broncos will battle in Napier, with one side affected by the first game of State of Origin far more than the other.

The Broncos’ scoring will take a big hit with Reece Walsh and Selwyn Cobbo lining up alongside each other for the Maroons, while they’ll also miss starting props Payne Haas and Thomas Flegler.

Despite sitting in seventh spot on the ladder, the Warriors rank 15th for points scored this season, as they win games on the back of their defensive prowess.

Suggested Bet:

Under (-43.5) at $1.85

Clinton Gutherson (Eels)

Anytime Scorer

While Maika Sivo has been the scoring dynamo for the Eels so far this season, Clinton Gutherson has quietly gone about his business with nine tries from 12 outings.

He ranks equal-ninth with Selwyn Cobbo and Latrell Mitchell.

The in-form Eels should have very few issues in their game against the Cowboys, and we’re happy to take Gutherson as a $1.87 shot to bother the scoreboard.

Suggested Bet:

C. Gutherson anytime try scorer at $1.87

Newcastle Knights vs. Manly Sea Eagles

Same Game Multi

Can Kalyn Ponga’s move to fullback spark the Knights back into form? They were undoubtedly disappointing in their Round 12 loss to the Sharks, but a return to Newcastle and a restructuring of the starting line-up might be just what the NRL doctors ordered.

They will lose Tyson Frizell to Origin duties, but it pales in comparison to the Sea Eagles, who will be without Daly Cherry-Evans and Tom Trbojevic, the latter of which is coming off a hat-trick against the Raiders.

  • Leg 1: Knights to win
  • Leg 2: Under 43.5
  • Leg 3: G. Marzhew score anytime
  • Leg 4: R. Garrick score anytime
  • Total: $13

Suggested Bet:

Same Game Multi
