Newcastle Knights vs. Gold Coast Titans

Head-To-Head

After losing two games on the trot in Rounds Seven and Eight, the Titans have slowly worked their way back into form and back into seventh spot on the ladder.

They were courageous against a fast-finishing and in-form Parramatta, with Kieran Foran and Alofiana Khan-Pereira both scoring doubles and leading them to a two-point victory.

The Knights had time to sit and think about their three-game losing streak during their fixtured bye weekend, with their most recent loss to the Eels by 31 points.

What does this all mean? Well, while the Titans’ away record is far from ideal at 2-3, they should be good enough to take care of the Knights. And we’re happy to take $1.85 to find out.

Suggested Bet:

Gold Coast to win at $1.85

South Sydney vs. Wests Tigers

Handicap

We’re taking the form side of the NRL and anticipating they will continue to drive their opponents into the ground this weekend.

Currently, on a five-game winning streak, the Rabbitohs have been unstoppable with wins against the Storm (16 points), Broncos (26) and Panthers (2) in their last three games.

With the likes of Alex Johnston, Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker shooting the lights out weekly, we’re backing the Bunnies to end the Tigers’ mid-season resurgence.

Suggested Bet:

South Sydney (-15.5) at $1.89

Manly Sea Eagles vs. Cronulla Sharks

Totals

The Sea Eagles and the Sharks meet in one of the more intriguing match-ups this weekend, with Manly attempting to end a steep dip in form that has resulted in two significant losses against the Titans (16) and Broncos (26). In fact, they’ve fallen from the second spot on the ladder to 10th over the course of two weeks.

The Sharks, who are the second-highest-scoring team in the league, will be on their own mission following a disappointing 20-point loss to the Dolphins. They scored 77 points in their two matches before Magic Round, giving hope to an old-fashioned Sunday afternoon shootout at 4 Pines Park.

Suggested Bet:

Over (+44.5) at $1.84

Selwyn Cobbo

Anytime Scorer

We can’t leave out the mouthwatering Thursday night clash between these two sides at Aami Park.

While there would have been a fair bit of soul-searching within the Storm’s four walls over the week, there would’ve been no such thing for Brisbane’s Selwyn Cobbo.

The star winger was unstoppable against the Sea Eagles as he punched out 50% of his team’s tries with a treble.

Before that, Cobbo hadn’t scored since Round Seven, so we’re backing him in on the understanding he’s back in scoring form.

Suggested Bet:

S. Cobbo anytime try scorer at $2.00

Penrith Panthers vs. Sydney Roosters

Same Game Multi

There are many questions surrounding both these sides 10 rounds into the season, with the pressure mounting on the Roosters following their 6-20 loss against the Cowboys.

The Panthers are back into third spot on the ladder but we’re not sure we can take a whole lot out of their win over the Warriors.

It should be physical, it should be hard to score and it should be one very entertaining match.

  • Leg 1: Panthers to win
  • Leg 2: Under 37.5 points
  • Leg 3: S. Crichton score anytime
  • Leg 4: Roosters under 12.5 points
  • Total: $7.50

Suggested Bet:

Same Game Multi
