Best Bet - Morphettville Race 7

Bella Nipotina $3.90

Bella Nipotina produced sizzling closing sectionals behind the freakish Amelia’s Jewel in The Quokka.

The Pride Of Dubai mare meets easier opposition here, and she always runs a good race.

The Maher and Eustace-trained five-year-old can sit midfield with cover jumping from a middle gate, and with even luck in transit, I expect her to prove too strong for her rivals late.

She is the class runner of the field, and she is easily the best bet of the day on a quality program of Group racing.

Passive Aggressive can bounce back here after flopping badly last start in the heavy conditions.

She won well fresh against a world-class field and looks dangerous on Saturday, jumping from the perfect inside draw.

If the track dries out, I expect her quote to shorten significantly.

I am concerned that her second-up run on a genuine heavy track may have flattened her for the rest of the campaign.

Wee Nessy $5.00

Wee Nessy was game in defeat behind the flying Parisal at Moonee Valley two starts back.

Her latest run in Sydney behind Aft Cabin was first-class, and she meets easier opposition here.

From barrier one, the Snitzel filly can box seat behind the leaders, and if the gaps appear at the right time, she can break through for a well-deserved victory.

The soft conditions will suit, and I expect significant market support if the heavens open.

Her winning record is the primary concern.

She Dances will start favourite for the Peter Moody stable.

She was great on top of the speed last start at Sandown, and she can put her rivals to the sword along way from home.

If left to her own devices on Saturday, she will be home and hosed before the final furlong.

Acappella Moon $11/$3.00

Acappella Moon is over the odds!

The Sebring Sun filly has been thereabouts in her three career starts, and her win fresh at Morphettville was eye-catching.

She had excuses at her latest outing in Victoria, and she can bounce back here coming off an impressive barrier trial.

I expect her to jump and lead from barrier ten, and if she can pinch some cheap sectionals, she may prove hard to run down.

Remedies will start favourite despite a disappointing performance at her South Australian debut.

The James Cumming trained Sepoy filly looked the winner on straightening. However, she faded badly in the concluding stages.

From an inside draw, she can bounce back on Saturday, and the weight of money for her in early betting tells me she is ready to fire.

QUADDIE

Q

$112 for 100%

Foxy Frida looks incredibly hard to toss in the Queen Of The South Stakes, and I am happy to have her one out in the opening leg of the quaddie.

The Foxwedge mare won well last start, and she can continue on her victorious path Saturday.

Our best bet, Bella Nipotina, may determine our quaddie hopes and dreams in the second leg, while we have gone extremely wide in the last two events of the day looking for value.

Best of luck!
