Hawkesbury April 22nd, Tips and Previews

Best Bet - Hawkesbury Race 1

2

Zardozi $1.90

Zardozi can get punters off to a flyer in the opening event!

The Kingman filly is undefeated and has been ultra-impressive in her performances to date.

1400m looks perfect third up, and she should get the run of the race from a middle gate.

The James Cummings polish will attract further market support, and with even luck in transit, I expect her to figure in the finish.

Quasimoto is racing consistently without winning.

The Squamosa gelding was game in defeat in the Wellington Boot, and he will appreciate the step out to the seven furlongs.

His winning record is the primary concern.

Unspoken $5.00

Unspoken turned heads on his Australian debut.

The Territories gelding savaged the line at Randwick, and he looks the real deal.

He has performed well second-up previously, and the 1800m looks ideal at this stage of the preparation.

His international form reads exceptionally well for this event, and he looks to have plenty of natural improvement to come.

A flat second-up run is a primary concern.

Ausbred Flirt will have supporters after a breakthrough campaign.

The Maurice mare doesn’t know how to run a bad race, and she boasts form around some serious gallopers.

The wide barrier is her biggest obstacle.

Written Beauty $10/$3.30

It’s D-Day for Written Beauty.

The one-time ‘boom horse’ has failed to trouble the scorer for a long time.

The Written Tycoon mare looked back to her best early in the campaign. However, she was very disappointing third-up.

If she brings her best manners and form to Hawkesbury, I expect her to figure in the finish.

She will attract market support with the ‘Magic Man’ Joao Moreira aboard.

Princess Grace will start favourite after an eye-catching Australian debut.

The Karakontie mare has exceptional USA form, and she strips fitter here.

She is undefeated, second up, and she will get the run of the race from barrier one.

The allocated weight is the primary concern.

QUADDIE

Q

$112 for 100%

The Hawkesbury Guineas is the opening leg of the quaddie, and we have gone extremely wide for some insurance.

Princess Grace and Written Beauty may decide our quaddie fate in the second leg, while we are banking on Floating Artist, Just Folk, Lord Ardmore, and Hosier in the Hawkesbury Cup.

Estadio Mestalla is our anchor in the lucky last.

Best of luck!
