Arran Bay was a victim of circumstance at his most recent run.
He led them up at Flemington over this course and distance, but had to endure running into a headwind as well as being consigned to the worst part of the track.
On a track that should play fairer, with the wind at his back in the straight, he can give a good sight out in the lead.

Nikau Spur looks a big improver getting back onto a better track.
The poor bugger has had to deal with two heavy 10 tracks at his resuming runs.
Should appreciate the rise to 1500 metres as well.
