Melbourne vs. Sydney
June 4th
Dealing without Steven May is going to be at the forefront for Melbourne when the Bloods in Sydney come to town.
Sydney is also missing its own gun with Buddy Franklin suspended for a game after clipping Trent Cotchin.
It all rests on young forward Logan McDonald to stand up alongside veteran Sam Reid.
The battle of the midfield is also going to be an integral part of match, but the Swans have more than enough bodies to float there in order to quell Melbourne.
It is so hard to replace a man like May.
Swans to cover the line easily.
SUGGESTED BET:
Swans to cover +23.5 at $1.90
Collingwood vs. Hawthorn
June 5th
COLLINGWOOD!
That chant has been ringing around the AFL for the last three weeks as the Pies bring in three-game winning streak to this game against Hawthorn.
We’re set for a bit of a wet and windy one with conditons predicted to be a shocker at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.
It probably suits Collingwood given how well it played in the wet against Fremantle a fortnight ago.
Hawthorn just look putrid against Gold Coast and, while it gains Jack Gunston back, it just does not have the form or talent to go with the Magpies.
SUGGESTED BET:
Collingwood -11.5 x J. De Goey anytime goal at $2.10
Fremantle vs. Brisbane
June 5th
Should Melbourne fall of the summit of the AFL table, this could very well be the grand-final rendition of 2022 when Fremantle hosts Brisbane.
Both teams play such exciting and tough brands of football guided by brilliant coaches in Justin Longmuir and Chris Fagan.
The Dockers with their defensive application which leads to scores, while Brisbane love to run, gun and get their star forwards on the end of the midfield product.
The home crowd always plays a factor at Optus Stadium and they will be as vocal as ever with Fremantle in top form after smashing reigning premier Melbourne last week.
The market has done complete flip since it opened on Monday with Fremantle drifting to be outsider… ridiculous value for the home team.
