Werribee April 22nd, Tips and Previews

Best Bet - Race 3

Prince Of Rome $2.10

Prince Of Rome is ready to win.

The three-year-old gelding put together a debut run at Kilmore over 1100 metres where he looked to be horse wanting further.

He gets up to 1400 metres and we know exactly what Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott will be attempting to pull off here; lead all the way.

Should have the map advantage over Triumphantly on a track which usually favours on pacers.

Recap $2.20

Recap has the track and distance experience at Werribee to now be winning a race of this calibre.

She was beaten $1.65 favourite last start, but had a few factors against her.

Lindsey Smith has decided to keep her up for a fifth run and it means she has a deft fitness edge over the heavily backed Crazy.

Drawing closer to the rail this time round should see her enjoy a run with cover that is closer to the leaders.

Best Roughie - Race 7

Miss Soluca $26/$5.5

Miss Soluca is a speedy customer who drops back in grade to a BM-58 1000-metre sprint.

She kick-started her campaign with a tough run at Morphettville when attempting to lead all the way, but just found it all a bit too much.

Getting back home to Victoria and finding an easier race should see her run much better.

Last time she raced in this class she started a $9 elect and now we are getting almost triple the price.

QUADDIE

Q

$48 for 100%

The Werribee Quaddie.

Smallish fields that are very competitive make this a tough one to assess.

Going to venture a bit wide in most of the legs with a few roughies looking like they can run strong races.

Leg 1: 2, 4, 7, 8, 9
Leg 2: 1, 3, 4, 8
Leg 3: 1, 5, 7, 8
Leg 4: 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, 11

Outlay: $100
Flexi Percentage = 20.83%
