A Fighting Fury, who finished a few lengths behind him, has since come out in bolted in a Coleraine BM-58 race to frank the form.

Wirecut would have to be one of the most intriguing gallopers to run in Australia this year.
An eight-year-old gelding who is yet to make his race debut, but he does so in this 975-metre maiden after a jump out win at Stawell over 800 metres.
He only beat home two other runners in that jump out, but he did so by showing good muster from the gates and a response to urgings of his rider.
Draws a barrier to tag onto the back of the favourite and might just run a cheeky race.

Forget he ever went around on debut at Bendigo last start when being tailed out to finish second last over 1100 metres behind Fire.
He was never given a chance on rain effected when settling last on the inside of runners.
He comes back to country maiden grade and steps up in distance which will allow to find a spot much closer in the run.
His jump outs prior to his debut were actually okay, so we can be forgiving of that first-up effort.
There will improvement to come in his fitness and he can run a cheeky race at nice odds.
