Alcyone looks to have come back a completely different race horse since being gelded and having the blinkers applied.
The four-year-old owned by Godolphin and trained by James Cummings shot through for an impressive one-and-a-half length victory at Sandown in BM-78 grade when resuming from a spell.
He clearly has massive upside from that run as he rises to 1600 metres here.
Damien Oliver has been booked and he should able to land in the perfect spot, one off the fence during the run towards the home bend.

Contemporary has looked the most stylish of the two-year-olds set to debut up the straight in the Darley Spring Preview.
He is another impeccably bred juvenile for Godolphin and looks to ready to rumble after a solid jump out up the Flemington straight on September 14.
He settled handy to the speed and went to the line under a fairly tight grip as he strode very nicely after the post.
To the eye, he looks to have a very sharp of turn of foot and expect him to catapult into early Blue Diamond favouritism should he win this like we expect him to.

One of the more intriguing runners on the day is Azaly who returns to the races as a gelding.
He looked a genuine derby prospect as a three-year-old, but failed to live up to that hype after being tailed out in the SA Derby behind Explosive Jack.
The now four-year-old gelding races first-up over 1100 metres, but looks to be much sharper than he ever has been following his most recent jump out.
Expect him to race forward in the run and give this race a big shout at big odds.
