He missed the start on debut at Bendigo over 1600 metres and did a great job to run fourth after making up a heap of ground on a track that favoured those who travelled on-pacer.
The four-year-old gelding trained by the nifty Andrew Bobbin will definitely come on physically from his first career run.
If he jumps a touch cleaner than he did last then he will be winning this race against some very average opposition.

This is going to be a put in take out job.
Super Thief returns to the races after running second on debut as a two-year-old behind See You Spring.
Now, in his three-year-old season, the Ben & J D Hayes-trained gelding is ready to break his maiden tag after some very sharp work at the jump outs.
He went to the line with Zou Dancer in an August 27th jump out after being given a very quiet jump out the week prior.
His jump outs suggest he is fine order and barrier five in this race will afford him the perfect stalking role behind the leaders.

Yulong Storm returns to his home track in the form of his career having acquitted himself brilliantly well at his last four starts.
Nathan Hobson has trained this horse to a win up the straight at Flemington in BM-78 grade over 1200 metres, a fourth at Flemington in BM-84 grade over 1100 metres and most recently a slighly unlucky third place finish at Moonee Valley.
The six-year-old gelding found himself bailed away on the inside of runners and screaming for room as his run was stolen by Ocular who he again comes up against.
Drawing a middle barrier at this home track should see his regular jockey Craig Newitt find a spot in the first four and without having to halt momentum.
