Set To Prophet

Set To Prophet jumped out very nicely ahead of his debut.

He is a three-year-old colt who is bred for speed with his sire being Blue Diamond and Moir Stakes winner Extreme Choice.

Showed nice gate speed in his Flemington polytrack/synthetic jumpout to prove he can handle the surface.

Senior jockey Brett Prebble has taken the ride and he will find the front or, at the very least, a prominent position on the pace and hopefully this horse can let down strongly to score victory.

Pounding $2

Peter Moody is on the hunt for an easy kill with Pounding.

The three-year-old gelding went is yet to win or place in his career, but he has contested some very handy races and his last start effort was brave.

He ran fourth behind River Views in what was a brutally run race over 1400 metres.

Having to contend with a sharp rise in distance from 1100 metres to 1400 metres, he did a great job to whack away and only finish 1.8 lengths away from the winner.

No qualms with the wide gate given his ability to race on the pace and quell any bad luck that comes his way.

Best Roughie - Race 5

Miss Hendrix $21/$5.5

She was nearly beaten out of sight last start, but she did have excuses in the run.

The soft seven rated track was clearly not to her liking and she was probably a little bit flat after having to deal with a rise from 1400 metres to 2200 metres the start prior.

This race sets up much better for her.

Jockey Alana Kelly can blend into the race midfield with cover and produce her run when need be.

QUADDIE

Q

$50 at 370.37%

This looks a straight forward quaddie.

There looks to be a long tail in plenty in the last three legs, so we will be outlaying a minimal amount with the minimal number of runners included a possible.

Going to dub this a ‘cat the fat’ quaddie.

Leg 1: 1, 3, 6
Leg 2: 7, 9, 10
Leg 3: 1
Leg 4: 4, 8, 10

Outlay: $50
Flexi Percentage = 370.37%
