Sweet Mary has the makings of a very nice horse following an impressive debut at Casterton.
A two-year-old filly by Hinchinbrook, Sweet Mary put her rivals to bed with a display of sustained speed to win by six lengths.
Dropping back in distance is not often an advisable way to outlay, especially at sprint distances, but this looks an exception to the rule.
There looks to be a lot of early speed engaged in this race of juveniles and with race experience but a handy turn of foot on her side, she may just make it win number two at start number two.

As soon as you see Jamie Kah booked on a horse in the form book that runner must be respected.
Kah, the star of jockey ranks in Australia, takes the ride of apprentice Madison Lloyd who dropped the reigns at a critical stage of the race last start.
The balance, strength and most importantly the poise and positivity of Kah should see this horse go one better.
Being beaten by Furrion is no mug effort either and from barrier seven we should be able to see Dr Drill with a head full of steam full of momentum.

Lloyd's Crown $13/$2.80
This would arguably have to be one of the better horses Rebecca Waymouth has trained.
Lloyd’s Crown did a bit wrong at his first two career starts by swooshing his tail around as he launched at the winning post to run second on debut and then followed that up with win at Sandown.
He shook his tail about in that win as well but Waymouth looks to have ironed out the issues of immaturity with horse and has jumped out him out quite nicely.
Barrier nine might prove a bit tough to negotiate but at these odds it’s hard to resist.

This has to be one of the toughest Moonee Valley quadrellas. Deep fields, a quirky tight-turning track and the potential for rain to wreak havoc.
