Mavericks v Clippers
June 5th
This series has been immense and both teams have had their moments. It has been a terrific series that could be finished with a Dallas victory here.
But this series smells of a game 7. It’s been so up and down that it seems destined for a decider. For that to happen though, the Clippers need to win here.
Kawhi has been superb this series and when he is on he is just about impossible to stop. I expect him to put his foot down here with the Clippers’ season on the line.
Luka Doncic will want to move on with his season and he has every chance of doing so but I can’t get past the feeling of game 7. Kawhi will switch on on both ends of the floor and shut down Doncic as the Clippers force the series onwards.

Nets v Bucks
June 6th
A terrific second round meeting that has the potential to be a classic series. If any one man can stop the dangerous Brooklyn trio of James Harden, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving it’s “The Greek Freak.”
The Bucks steam rolled the Heat in the first round but the Heat were a shell of the team that made last season’s NBA finals. But make no mistake the Bucks were impressive.
The Nets were in cruise control right throughout the first round and as good as the Bucks are, if the Nets decide to raise a gear here you suspect they will be too good again. Brooklyn has their eyes firmly on the NBA finals and I don’t see anyone stopping them.
I expect Kevin Durant to make a statement early in this series and assert his dominance on Giannis and the rest of the Bucks organisation.
