MRS BECKHAM
MRS BECKHAM ($19) looks ready to peak after two runs back and gets in well at the weights. Looks a terrific each-way punt. SNICKERDOODLEDANDY ($3.80) finished a good second last start at Flemington and definitely in this. LA VINA ($3.80) won well first-up than respectable fifth last start over 1100m at Flemington. Extra distance here suits. WITCHFUL THINKING ($9) good winner last start at Warrnambool and has to be respected.
Race 4: 1100m

VIVIANE
VIVIANE ($19) is first-up here but trialling well at Flemington and she’s a tentative choice at the odds in a race without a standout two-year-old. PRASIOLOTE ($13) finished third first-up over 1100m at Randwick and bound to be improved. COMMANDS THE FIELD ($6) won on debut at Cranbourne and can run well again.
Race 5: 1100m

ARAMAYO
ARAMAYO ($115) ran a terrific race first-up over 1200m at Flemington and provided there is no flat second-up performance can win this at big odds. ODEON ($6.50) was super first-up over 1400m at Flemington and will be fitter here. ROX THE CASTLE ($27) has had two runs back and can run well here at a big price. HARLECH ($35) ran better than the unplaced effort in the Wangoom looks and he’s definitely capable of running well here. YULONG JANUARY ($3.40) was good last start over 1400m at Flemington and one of the main chances again.
Race 6: 1400m

MARK OF THE MAN
MARK OF THE MAN ($12) just missed against SUMMEROCA ($18) here last start and should be hard to beat. SWEET SIXTEEN ($21) is racing well and finished third last start here over 1400m. MICHIGAN ($8) has won both his starts and looks up to winning at this level.
Race 9: 2000m

FIFTH POSITION
FIFTH POSITION ($6.50) just missed at Warrnambool on his Australian debut and bound to be better here, Hard to hold out. APPROACH DISCREET ($12) ran well for third last start at Rosehill and gets Damien Oliver here. Big chance. SIGNIFICANCE ($31) should be ready to run well after three starts back. Wide draw no help but capable of winning.
