Jazz v Grizzlies
June 3rd
Donovan Mitchell has been huge this series and will look to put up another huge night and lead the Jazz through the first round in game five. The Grizzlies simply aren’t up to it in this series.
Ja Morant has been good but his support cast hasn’t been able to keep pace with the Jazz who will be moving on to bigger fish. The Grizzlies are all about defence but the Jazz’s versatile offence has picked them apart.
The Jazz are showing that they are the real deal and that they aren’t going to stumble, to eliminate the Jazz teams are going to have to be on for seven games. As for this contest I believe the Jazz’s offensive end will be too potent.
I expect a decent Jazz win with plenty of points to be had.
SUGGESTED BET:
Jazz Win @ $1.42
- Suggested Same Game Multi:
- Leg 1: Jazz Win
- Leg 2: D. Mitchell Over 25.5 Points
- Leg 3: R. Gobert Over 15.5 Points
- Combined odds = $3.3
Clippers v Mavericks
June 3rd
I expect Dallas to put the foot down here and bid farewell to Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. And, it may be time for LA to say goodbye to Kawhi.
Luka Doncic has done what Luke Doncic does, he has been huge for the Mavs and has been able to lead the team from the front on the offensive end. The Clippers haven’t been rendered completely useless against him though.
They have found ways to quell his influence at times but have been unable to do so on a regular basis and that’s where their issue lies. Kawhi seems determined to keep the Clippers alive single handedly and he may just succeed.
But I can’t trust this Clippers team as far as I can throw them. Doncic however, I can trust.
SUGGESTED BET:
Dallas @ $1.74
- Suggested Same Game Multi:
- Leg 1: L. Doncic Over 30.5 Points
- Leg 2: K. Leonard Over 35.5 Points
- Leg 3: Dallas Win
- Combined odds = $3.3
Trailblazers v Nuggets
June 4th
Denver vs Portland has been so much fun to watch. But it’s time to move on now. The Nuggets need to put this series behind them now and move on to bigger and better things.
Last game was wild and was a scoring frenzy. I expect absolutely no difference here. Portland and more importantly Damien Lillard have relied on scoring to keep themselves in games.
The Nuggets have been happy to go toe-to-toe with the Trailblazers and essentially outlast them as they did last game in overtime.
Austin Rivers has been pretty good this series which has been a big boost in the absence of Jamal Murray which has kept the Nuggets postseason alive and well.
SUGGESTED BET:
Denver Win @ $1.82
- Suggested Same Game Multi:
- Leg 1: N. Jokic Over 12.5 Rebounds
- Leg 2: D. Lillard Over 35.5 Points
- Leg 3: Nuggets Win
- Combined odds = $4.7
Lakers v Suns
June 4th
My patience and belief in the Lakers is wearing very thin. LeBron looks bereft of ideas and he seems to have lost all faith in his teammates.
The Suns have been immense and will be buzzing at the chance to hand The King his first ever exit from the first-round of the playoffs. Devin Booker is making a name for himself this season and what a statement knocking out the defending champ would be.
The Lakers should be advancing through this series but they don’t look like they want it nearly as much as their opponents and that is a massive indictment. They aren’t close to the team they were last year.
The Suns are on the rise, they’re going through and the Lakers have some real, real concerns.
